After I finished THE INSIDER for the original Family Secrets Series, the story line was so compelling, it was hard to let go.  When I was invited to work on the sequel, naturally I was thrilled.  Doing continuity series always presents special challenges -- the sheer scope of the stories, and the need to coordinate all the tiny details from book to book calls for a tremendous amount of extra effort -- yet the other authors made this project so much fun, IN DESTINY'S SHADOW was a joy to write.  By the end, I felt as if we had created a real family in the Caldwell triplets...and in their elusive siblings.

And of course, I absolutely loved the paranormal aspects in the stories!  Those of you who have read "Conyn's Bride" or THE WOLF AND THE WOMAN'S TOUCH know how much I enjoy letting my imagination run wild.  The psychic power that is so much a part of Anthony Caldwell's character adds an unexpected dimension to his romance with Melina.  And in return, Melina shows him there's nothing stronger than the power of love.
